Vinyasa Yoga Classes

I invite you to practice dynamic sequences with me, inspired by traditional Hatha & Asthanga methods.

 

I will guide you through a fluid series of poses tailored towards achieving that all-important mind/body connection. With a focus on creating balanced flows that equally challenge and restore the body, classes will encompass postures, breathworks and meditations that work together to improve your physical and mental well-being.

 

I aim to provide a beginner friendly learning environment in which you can explore your limitless physical & mental capabilities, where newcomers and experienced Yogis can progress their practice together.

Plant Connections

I have forever been the type to wander directionless through the forest, lead by an awe of the trees and the vibrant colours of the flowers. Similarly, nature guides me on my yogic path.

 

A connection with the land, its plants and animals, cultivates awareness – awareness of surroundings, awareness of body and awareness of mind. As such, yoga and the study of plants compliment one another.

Not only can plants be used in a literal sense, via food and medicine, to improve health and well-being, an appreciation for plant life can anchor the mind in reality, calm anxiety and ease irrational negativity.

 

In many spiritual traditions, plants are considered extremely significant. Often, they are associated with an actual deity, while some are interwoven into sacred rituals to bring about higher states of consciousness. Others are used as offerings, to cleanse sacred spaces or ward off negative energies, The BOUND SAGE smudge stick is a perfect example of this.

With their physical, mental and spiritual benefits in mind, I strive to incorporate plants into my own practice and the lessons I share with you.
